You may already know it, but if it's not the case, this is definitely one worth checking out!

I have probably way too many projects of my own on the go at the moment, but might look into this more seriously.

The concept is very simple. Vcabinet is designed to take full advantage of game artworks by using a single monitor in a vertical position.

 

In my opinion, it's the best method to display marquee and bezel. In addition you can also benefit from this setup.
1: You don't need to use a second monitor. (Plus, widescreen LCD are pretty expensive buy)
2: You can play vertical games without having to rotate your screen.
3: You can build an all in one machine and enjoy arcade games such as visual pinball with a traditional look and feel.  

Can be easily converted if you opt for a bartop.

 

However, Vcabinet is not a frontend, it's intended for MAME only. So, i wanted to broaden the idea with Hyperspin to include other systems as well.

If the idea tempts you, gentlemen, you'll find several arcade cabinet model to inspire you.

As for me, i like the shape of the last one. I think i'll go for it
