MAME CHDs worth playing/getting

He guys!

I am redoing my entire MAME collection, and got to the point of deciding about the CHD based games. These are the ones that I have played before and will get, but I wanted to check with the community about the rest, as I dont want to leave behind possible good/entertaining games, but neither to occupy gigs of dead space.

Games that I currently listed:

- Jojos (both games)
- Killer Instinct (both games)
- Street Fighter III (three games)
- RedEarth

Games that I do not know their status (playable or not):

- King of Fighters (three games)
- Tekken 4 and 5
- VIrtua Striker
- Virtua Tennis

Games that I am on the fence:

- Beatmania games (regular mixes and IIDX)
- DDR games
- Gauntlet (both)

Gun games will be my next step, once I have all configured will try to check the setup of the gun with the wiimote.


Any opinions, recommendations, top CHDs or the ones you have in your sets, etc. would be great!

@Kondorito there are so many great ones!  I’ll get you a list of some of my favorites as soon as I get back to my arcade setup tonight.

Here's a few:  Area 51, NFL Blitz, Carnevil, Hyper Drive, Night Raid, Raycrisis, Psyvaria, Maximum Force, Simpson's Bowling, San Francisco Rush, Super Puzzle Bobble, XII Stag.  There are lots of CHD files that are named really weird, so i'm not sure what they are by just looking at them.   Hopefully that gets you started.

Thank you! A lot of those sound great. Will surely check them out. I know that area51 is played with a gun, but I might configure it with the mouse until I get a wiimote/bar.
