The HyperSpin 2 early access beta is here!

We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

A computer that runs Windows. Or a device running a version of Android that is supported.

You might also need to exempt the location you are installing to as some Scanners still see Hyperspin and some 3rd party apps as Trojans.

Hi Noah.

The only place to download HS is right here on this site. ANYONE can download it, it's freeware. Paid membership is only for some of the nicer media (which you will want if you are serious about your setup).

Now I think HS might be the wrong place for you to start. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you seem to have this idea that you can just download it and start playing. It's just not like that. It's actually a collection of many programs/sets running together. There is a lot... and I mean A LOT of configuring to do. I have been using computers since before Pentium was invented and I had a hard time getting everything to work correctly. A tonne of reading will be needed. A basic understanding of PC components will help as well. What MHz does your processor run? How many GB of RAM? And depending on what systems you want to run, how much HD space do you have? My Hyperspin folder is nearly 80gb and there is ZERO games in there, that's all video and logos, bezels, boxart... early systems are relatively small but I have a 3tb usb drive that is full with just PS2 games.

My advice would be to seek out a couple of older game sets (NES, SNES, GBA) that you are interested in... hint: No-Intro sets are good! And just try a couple of stand alone emulators first. Get used to setting paths and configuring controls and stuff. After you do this with a couple of systems and you are comfortable, bringing them all together in a front-end like HS will at least be less daunting. I don't say any of this to deter you. If you are willing to learn, I will try my best to help you... I should mention, I don't work here or anything, just a long time user.
