Newly added roms

 Hi everyone I was wondering if someone would be able to help me with newly downloaded ROMs from the hyper spin  hyperlist.  As per the video from hyper spin , people should do this from time to time because new ROMs are added so I went to the hypelist I found some ROMs that I didn’t have an copied the xml to my folder where my existing ROMs are. But when I open up rocket launcher  all the new ROMs that I just downloaded are in red and its message says that there is no ROM path . how can I correct this ?

Xml = database

There are NO roms on this site. Never will be.

Hi....ok not roms the xml’s to the database folder where the other xml’s are and the show up in red with no path.

Red means you either do not have those roms or they are named incorrectly (capitalization matters!)

Also make sure if they are not the same compression format you add them into the list of options.

 Hi bungles.... I’m not sure if I’m following ......sorry.. what do you  exactly mean about not the same compression and add them into the list of options I am only going by the hyper spin video that the guy was illustrating about clicking on the XML ‘s and now their listed in rocket launcher...thx jeff

The xml is just a text document, you can open it in "internet explorer" or "notepad" if its not too big. Basically they need to be named as they are displayed in RL...

I dont know where you got your games (i dont want/need to know) but there is probably very low chance that they match exactly as needed. In any case, go to the folder you downloaded roms in and see if they match.

Just re-read this... did you not give RL the paths to where your roms are stored?

What I mean by compression methods.  

Some games come in .zip files. Others come in .7z or .rar files etc... or even sometimes they are not compressed and will be in their native format.

You might need to tell Rocketlauncher it can work with these new types of compression or change them to .zip to match the rest of your files.
