which PC of the two would be best for Hyperspin

Can I get some opinions on which system would be the best performing for a dedicated hyperspin PC build?  I have a pre-built Dell with a I3 7300 (dual core) 3.9ghz with integrated Intel graphics, and a homebuilt I5 6600k (quad core) 3.5ghz base, 3.9ghz turbo with a Radeon 7850 (2gb).  Thanks.

It all depends on what you want to be playing and at what graphics levels.

If its just old Mame and old Retro Consoles etc the i3.

If its anything more the i5.

I would suggest going with the beefier one because once you start you will want more! Although high clock speed is generally better for emulation.

i find my i3 struggles with all the other tasks involved in this hobby, rom conversions, Photoshop, unzipping etc

my i3 is far lower ape than yours iirc
