vincefaro Posted May 11, 2018 Posted May 11, 2018 I am having a lot of trouble with my arcade cabinet. I am currently using HS 1.4 with Hyper Marquee on my 2nd LCD monitor. Anybody who has this setup and its working great please let me know , and maybe you can help me figure out what the problem is. Currently it works however, I am having all kinds of issues with my wheels and they are selecting games on there own when I'm scrolling through the wheel, Or i will select a game and it moves up or down one game. I have just about given up and was going to move on to LaunchBox . Anyway after doing a lot of testing I have Hyper marquee and , LED Blinky working using EDS. Those are the two programs working on EDS. When I remove or disable LEDBlinky in EDS, The problem seems to go away. Hooray! but I want LEDBlinky to work too . Anybody who uses all three successfully can you share your setup with me? It stopped the random wheel jump one game at a time when I selected a game. Make sure on HyperHQ there are no Joysticks selected to operate it. Its never been fixed and probably never will be. I have EDS load up everything. LedBlinky, Hypermarquee and Hyperspin Startup Script. Add HSS to your EDS setup. My code looks like this for HSS in regards to the joysticks. I use four Ultimarc360s, and all four can control the Hyperspin Wheel. Until the devs actually make a working Hyperspin, this was the best solution I found. I tried xpadder and joy2Key, and find that they work sometimes, but cause glitches in HS, like what youre experiencing. The only catch using StartupScript, is that the joysticks will stop responding if nobody touches the arcade for at least 20 minutes. If you just let HS sit on attract, it will just decide to stop reading the joysticks. I think its a memory leak that has never been fixed. Hope this helps! I was just thinking if that was my problem. Also, I installed HS startup script . My buttons on my joystick are not working now. How do I adjust in the HS Script?

vincefaro Posted September 24, 2018 Author Posted September 24, 2018 OK , I now have the buttons working and the joysticks using the startup script. I still have issues when I use EDS, and my three programs LED Blinky, HS Startup Script , and HM. Either, when I am moving up and down on the wheel the game will still skip up one game or skip up a full section. This is frustrating . Here is my EDS setup . And here is my mame.ini i use Groovymame .201 now . And I have two monitors which the Marquee still shuts off when I select a game so the marquee goes away . The marquees show only in HS . Any help would be aprreciated. Thanks mame.txt

On startup of HS I can control my wheels with my joystick , however after a few game selects , I lose control of the wheel with my joystick. Of course my keyboard works fine and will control the wheel unless of course HS losses focus, which is anther issue.
