krdell Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 I have done a bunch of google research but couldn't find anything that worked for me. I can get it to run in Mame natively but not in hyerspin. It doesn't show up in the audit despite using a dummer zip in the rom folder, changing the name of the iteagles zip to gtfore06, and making sure the chd file is in the right location inside of the gtfore06 folder in roms. Any help would be much appreciated!
blutackey Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 Yep, I am having a similar problem mine shows up in the audit but doesn't run. I've tried all sorts of things including moving the chd to its own folder, renaming the chd to gtfore06 (same as the .zip), no luck. My current setup is I've got the iteagles.zip and gtfore06.zip in the ROM folder and the chd file in a subfolder of the ROMs folder called gtfore06 - does it matter what the chd name is? I've tried the name it came with and also gtfore06 but no luck. I've also turned file check to ROM only. It works in both Mame 188 and MAMEUIFX latest version but not through Hyperspin. I've got it appearing on the wheel by modifying the game xml file and the audit passes but when trying to load it the error I get is "There was an error waiting for the window "ahk_class MAME" please check you have the correct version emulator installed for this module..." Any help would be much appreciated!
Spawk Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 No renaming of anything is needed. Simply add it to the xml: Description can be anything you like. Then set "Skip Checks" to "Rom Only" under Mame/Settings/MainSettings in RLUI.
Spawk Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Oh and yes you need a dummy "gtfore06.zip" in your rom folder, it can be empty as it is only used to populate the wheel in through HQ.
