I do have one question though, which is probably trivial...but...how do you know which version of mame64.exe to use? Mame version as of today is: 0.198 The Hyperspin database is at: 0.160 So, is it safe to assume that the romset and mame64.exe to be used shoud be 0.160?

Rowr14 Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 You always want to use the same version of Mame as the Romset you are using. So you are following the correct logic for things to all work correctly, but you might as well get the latest versions of everything.
