We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

Hyperspin Upgrade - Still safe?

Hi.

I"m trying to upgrade my version of Hyperspin and just downloaded the 1.5.1 upgrade.  I know in the past there has been false positives with firewall/virus scans for the download, but I'm getting a very specific warning when I try to extract from Windows Defender:

Trojan:Win32/Zpevdo.A

Alert Level: Severe

Has anyone else received this message?  I assume it's still safe to use?

Thanks.

Here are your choices:

1: Trust that Hyperspin would not release an update full of viruses and that these are false positives (MY PERSONAL CHOICE)

2: Don't install this update they spent time on to fix the issues on Windows 10, meaning you can't use Hyperspin

It's a very difficult decision :shok:

I just downloaded the 1.5.1 full install, as I am trying to start over with a fresh build on Windows 10.  I received the same alert, along with a second:

Trojan:Win32/Bluteal.B!rfn

Alert Level: Severe

I would definitely appreciate more information on this if anything is known.  For now I'm undoing the changes.

Windows Defender says that HyperHQ.exe is infected with Zpevdo.A and that HyperTheme.exe is infected with Bluteal.B!rfn.
