rrcade
Is there an easy way to do this that I'm not seeing?
Lashek
Yup. In MAME.ini (or any system's ini), change use_indexes to false. This forces the wheel into alphabetical. The indexes are for custom index points and list orders.
rrcade
I'm talking about putting the systems on the main menu wheel in alphabetical order, the Main menu ini doesn't have (Navaigation)settings to do that.
Fursphere
Just edit your main menu .xml file and sort it yourself. How many systems do you have? Can't be more than like 12..... (and thats a lot)
djvj
12 lol, I have 84 systems. rrcade, main menu is strictly the order in the xml. Alphabetize them automatically in any xml editing program. Or by hand it should take you only 2 mins to do.

Or do you do all the foreign systems as well? I bet keeping up with the updates is fun...
djvj
I found them in my back pocket, under some lint. Isn't that where they are always hiding? Yes it is fun keeping up with them all.../sarcasm off
rrcade
Just counted, I got 84 also, of course they all don't work, but it's nice to look at the pictures
ngarrett111
That's crazy. I'm guessing many of those systems are MESS systems, then? Basically those obscure ones that are barely emulated? Also, do you guys use the alternate arcade emus as well (ie Final Burn, WinKawaks, Raine, etc)?
djvj
Every one of my systems fully work. Only a handful use MESS (I dislike the emu). The only alternate arcade emus I use are for naomi, atomiswave, zinc, model2, daphne...can't think of anymore off the top of my head.
