The HyperSpin 2 early access beta is here!

We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

Bezels can come in 3 different formats:

Mame Artwork: from the mame "extras", these will be placed in your /mame/artwork/ folder. These are generally not good enough for peoples use. They look good but Mame cares nothing about filling the screen with the actual game. Often the play area is too small.

RocketLauncher: from HS and RL sites, these are placed in your RL/media folder. These are what you want. Only problem here is that there is many different creators and none of them have made a full set. Makes it real hard to have a unified look.

RetroArch: called "overlays" in RA. I prefer to use dedicated emulators instead so I dont know a lot about these. Not even sure if there are game specific ones but they do have more generic NES, SNES, etc.

Just be aware of what version you are getting and which program will handle displaying them. I am sure Ninja2bceen has a video explaining at least one of these types.
