windows desktop showing briefly when exiting mame rom

i am setting up hyperspin to run on my windows 10 pc. I have mame up and running but when i exit a game, before retuning to the game selection wheel, hyperspin fades out and my windows desktop is visible briefly before returning to hyperspin. What could be causing this and how can i fix it?

Just use "launcher 4 kodi" and shell hyperspin instead of kodi. If the system will show the desktop it will be solid black without icons (you'll load HS as windows interface instead of explorer.exe). In case you'll need windows GUI just crtl+alt+canc -> run -> explorer.exe

After some more playing around, i turned off fade and for some reason the issue is gone. launcher for kodi worked great but there was a longer time reloading the hyperspin main menu after exiting the emulator. its awesome that HS can be loaded instead of explorer.exe though. That will be a nice finishing touch when i have the system all set up.

Most of my systems also have a flash screen of desktop which I hate and I have also seen this issue with youtubers.

I think is the problem with RL. Even thought I have set the timing for fade in out but this never get solve. Not sure how other members are doing.
