Dreamcast games launching with reicast

I have converted a Dreamcast GDI to CHD which launches fine from reicast locally but if I try to launch through Hyperspin it just takes me to the Dreamcast bios/menu screen, anyone know how to fix this?

edit.  Not to worry guys went with redream instead

I have also had this issue and I'm pretty sure it was a setting in Retroarch for that core which wasn't immediately obvious. 

Not sure if my current gpu can run Retroarch but I will look if it runs.

Yes RA shaders are the best , but never thought of using dc core. Maybe I should give it a try.
