PC Games launch through RL but not in Hyperspin

Hey guys,

I use only two wheels, MAME and PC Games.  Mame works fine in Hyperspin. PC Games launch fine from RL, but nothing happens when I select the game in Hyperspin. I checked the RL troubleshooting log and there is no data for it, so HS must not be calling RL at all.  The following screenshot shows my Wheel Settings. I've tried setting the ROM path to the folder for some of the specific games, but nothing changed.  Is there an xml or ini file that HS can't find to send the appropriate data to RL?

I tried changing the execution to HyperLaunch, and it said it couldn't find, " ...RocketLauncherUI\databases\PC Games\PC Games.xml" I thought the only xml should be in the Hyperspin folder, so I figured this was just going further down the wrong path.

Setting to "Normal" will bypass RL altogether, yes... if you go this route, you must set a rompath and extension (not really recommended).

Or set back to "HyperLaunch" and PC game "Disabled" and use the PC Launcher module in RL... sounds like you are doing this if they launch from RL already.

If you have HS/RL connected properly, I don't really know why it would be looking in the RLUI databases folder. Mame runs fine though??? Can you please just confirm you have these settings made:

The legends of Spawk are true!

For some reason, my default front end and frontend path were set to RocketlauncherUI.  Looks like everything is running now. Thanks!

Before, when I added a ROM path and a lnk extension for the shortcuts, I got them to run, but (as you said) it wasn't through Rocketlauncher, so I couldn't use the keymapper or any of its other glorious functions.

For posterity, I noticed that a lot of my game descriptions were also spelled wrong (Astro Duel instead of AstroDuel) even though they worked before... I"m guessing that this method is looking at a Romname while the other is actually loading it from the Game Description.
