Rpcs3 exiting games

Hi sorry for newb question but I have scoured the inter webs for days and have not found an answer. I have setup rpcs3 using the pclauncher module and bat files, which the only way rocket launcher would accept the games is if I made shortcuts to the batch files and used the shortcuts to get games into rocket launcher. Everything is working great and PSN games are running fine as well as full disc games, got a little over 80 games working. The only problem is I can’t exit the games using my game pad, I have rocket launcher configured to exit with escape when I press my xbox360 right joystick button but escape exits full screen in rpcs3. I am aware from rpcs3 site that the exit rom command is ctrl-s but how do I map that to the game pad. I have seen people messing with scripts and modules but don’t really understand how to get this emulator running that way. Is there a way to map Ctrl-s to my game pad button instead of escape.

Could somebody in the know write a definitive guide like, “closing rpcs3 roms and returning to hyperspin for dummy’s”, I am totally stumped.

ps. I am using xpadder for key mapper but have it disabled for ps3 as rpcs3 can see my pads without it. Looked closely at that to but can’t figure out how to map key combos. Man I wish the rpcs3 guys would have left escape as the exit rom button. Thanks in advance. Lots of posts say they have fixed this issue but don’t get in depth as to exactly how.

if i may ask, how did you get it to go fullscreen through hyperspin, i did the postscript for each game and it goes full screen though RL but when i run the game through HS, it hides behind the hyperspin program after it runs.

 

also, any luck on mapping an exit key?
