Hyperspin Keyboard Commands

G'Day Trend Setters,

I just completed building a 4 player standup arcade machine with a 43" 4K monitor using all Ultimarc parts.  I have configured the machine so each player has 8 buttons, a coin button and player button with this all feeding into an Ultimarc IPAC 4 controller (maxes out the inputs for this board).  I also have the Ultimarc trackball set up as a mouse with two mouse buttons.  I have attached a picture.

I originally was planning only to run MAME so didn't add any extra buttons as I don't like the extra clutter and I normally use a wireless keyboard and mouse.

After seeing Hyperspin I purchase a 1T hard drive with Hyerspin and MAME with all the current MAME ROMs. 

Last night when I launched Hyperspin for the first time it allowed my to select MAME and scroll through the game list but wouldn't select a game.  Is the same button to select the emulator (in my case MAME) the same button to select the game and if not what is the button.  I tried looking for a list of keyboard keys to operate Hyperspin (bypassing the arcade control panel) but haven't been able to locate one.

If the same button to select the emulator is the same button to select the game, can some advise why the game didn't launch.

Is the a document showing all the keyboard keys that allow operation of the Hyperspin interface and if so where would I find it.

I have look at they system closely and have notice that when I press the start key it is trying to launch MAME but jumps back out into Hyperspin.  Below is the log.

There is no such thing as a "place to buy HS". Money would have been better spent on "platinum" membership here and at EmuMovies. Normally we just tell people who buy drives to go get support from wherever they bought it from... 

I don't want to even do that because the dimwit who set that up clearly had no idea what they were doing! Not only did he not use RocketLauncher, he didn't even use the old Hyperlaunch. He has stuff loading right through HQ like we used to do 15 years ago.

Seriously there are some great setup tutorials on youtube, you should try and learn to set this up yourself.

Thanks for the reply.  I purchase the drive for the ROMs as I had not heard of Hyperspin but seeing it action decided to use it.  Should have got one setup by Hyperspin Systems.

Will jump onto youtube and see what this RocketLauncher does.

Thanks for the help.  RocketLauncher wasn't set as the launcher in Hyperspin.  Watched the YouTube video, did the setting and all is working.
