knewlife Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 I'am trying to finalize my MAME 0.153 setup... this is by far the system that takes my more work to understand and make work but is obvious as they are many machines and games covered by it. I have the fallowing problems to solve: 1) Hiscore: I have my Hi folder in a Jumpstyle's MAMEUIFX 0.153 64 BIts, it saves 0 kb files in the folder but i think when i play a game but after playing sf2, make some points and lost, the game ask for my initials but the hi file is stll 0kb. maybe i play a clone I'dont know... Well i don't know actually where this hiscores will show up... i activate Hiscore in HLHQ and HyperHQ but don't see anything... i just want to have this working before start playing more the mame games. Meibe if someone can send me a sf2 savestate i can test again as i don't remember to save last time and i am really busy even to play... just take time to write this after several day thinking on it 2) Save states... when select savestate in hyperpause it sometimes work and sometimes not... and when it works i see this: and i have to press a key in the keytboard for it to save the state... it looks like it save the state in that key (1,2,3,Q,E,etc) i mean not just the number like in most emulators. SOmeone knows if it should work like this? Thanks in Advance EmuLink (Canal de Youtube) | Main Menu Changer | HyperArchiver Version 0.0.0.17 | HSBezel
gigapig Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Can't help with save states I'm afraid, but hi score maybe. Do you have the 4 dat files in a folder called "dats"? You should have command.dat, hiscore.dat, history.day and mameinfo.dat. In mameuifx under default game options> miscellaneous, check the enable hiscore support box. You can also have hi scores show up on Hyperspin by also having HiToText.exe and ini in your Hyperspin folder and enabling it in HyperHQ under tools. Remember not every game supports hi scores.

knewlife Posted July 2, 2014 Author Posted July 2, 2014 Have you tried using the save/load state in HyperPause? Thanks, Ron I do use hp to save and load... When returning from hp, after select save or load I got this screen... Maybe my save keys in HLHQ are wrong... How yours look like? And for the hiscore will test tonight... The only thing I can be missing is to activate it in mameuifx. Thanks EmuLink (Canal de Youtube) | Main Menu Changer | HyperArchiver Version 0.0.0.17 | HSBezel
