He committed suicide and jumped to his death taking his beloved wall mount with him. He will be missed... BUT! You know what they say, out with the old and in with the new!! But in my and my fiancé inexperience and excitement (our first place and first big purchase) we may have botched the job. However I picked up the new 55 today and it was an expensive blessing. This new one rocks. Smarter. Bigger. Better. It seamlessly transitions to my media center PC for a quick hyperspin experience. I'll post some pics tomorrow homies if I can.
