Hyperspin it doesn't go to the desktop

Hello. As the topic.
After changing the "Startup/Exit" section in HyperLaunchHQ and unchecking "Exit Menu", it worked as it should, i.e. it did NOT go to the desktop, but when I changed it back, nothing changed and it no longer goes to the desktop.
I tried restarting other changes but it didn't help.
It looks like it doesn't save the settings.
On another computer, the situation is the opposite, i.e. even though "Exit Menu" is UNCHECKED, it still goes to the desktop.
One system is Win7 and mine is Win10.
Where does HQ save its settings?

They're in Settings/Settings.ini.

Exactly. I already managed to find it and change what I needed
But I'm very wondering why HS itself doesn't save these settings.

Is the settings.ini file set to "read-only" in properties?

I understand what you're thinking... but it's not write-protected in any way.
HS running on two systems Win7 and Win10 had the same problem.
It appeared after several changes in the HS itself.
