    The HyperSpin 2 early access beta is here!

    We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

Wheel won't stop spinning

Ok, I've done multiple searches on this issue and have yet to find a solution, as the ones posted in previous threads do not apply to my situation.

I have a Sabrent 12-button controller, and I have set the controls in HyperHQ to use the POV Hat to navigate the wheel.

The second I touch that button though, it just spins uncontrollably until I either;

A.) Exit Hyperspin

or

B.) Use my keyboard to navigate the wheels.

I have tried switching the controller from analog and digital modes, assigning it to the POV or the Analog stick, adjusting the threshold settings (which would seem needless if I'm using the POV anyway), I found a thread that said his issue was fixed by setting keymapper to "false" mine is already and has always been set to false...

I don't want to set up an xpadder profile for a controller that is recognized by the emulators.

What do I do so that I can just push Up/Down on the POV and make it work like normal?

Please help me.

Known issue. Joysticks don't work with hyperspin. You need to use something like xpadder to assign keyboard keys to get it to work. Good luck.

Yes, as the other poster said, use XPadder. You can map your joystick inputs to keyboard controls and it works just fine, set it up in the keyboard menu, not the joystick menu. Also doesn't seem to effect any of my emulator binds, so didn't have to remap anything

I don't understand how it doesn't affect your emulator binds...When i set up xpadder to use in Hyperspin I assign keys to my controller. When I press my controller buttons in an emulator it presses the key I binded in xpadder (Instead of using "Joypad button 1" or something like that).
