Newbie question - roms not working

HI all,

I have just recently updated my old 60 in 1 board and set up hyperspin. Two of my favourite games are slapfight and bank panic, I have downloaded the roms and have the following problems

Bank Panic

- hyperspin finds it and even brings up the artwork but as soon as I try and set up a "credit" to select player 1 it boots me back to the game selector

Slapfight

I have downloaded every rom I can find in the internet and it will not pick it up in the name of the game in the game selector. I have done this with other games (trog for example) and they play fine but slapfight is a mystery.

I have seen the hyperspin artwork for slapfight on youtube therefore it must work, so it must be something I am doing

HyperSpin isn't an easy program to get going. Without much detail to help you, best you start your installation from the beginning. Follow this guide:

Let us know where things fail.

You may want to grab a copy of Mameuifx and audit your Roms to make sure they a correct.

Do they run outside of Hyperspin? If it's a Hyperspin or Hyperlaunch problem please post your logs set to the correct level. If your unsure about how to do that read the newbie sticky guide on the main page.

I can confirm slapfight is working.
