I also wanted to add that I SOMEHOW got everything working perfectly including dolphin to exit when pressing my OPTIONS and SHARE buttons at the same time I macro'd (is that a word??) them to ALT+F4 in DS4Windows and poof it worked!

I would like to note something here for anyone reading this seeking help or trying to solve their own issues..strangely enough when I try to hotkey an exit button in Dolphin it actually does the opposite of the key I assign. Basically, any key I assign to EXIT in dolphin not only does nothing, it also refuses to perform that key's functions. SO for example. I hotkey ALT+F4 to Dolphin's exit command and start a game. I press ALT+F4 to exit like i'm supposed to but the game continues. Strange that it actually deactivates a windows command so now I am stuck in the game and my only option to exit is using the Windows key and trying to navigate without visually seeing my mouse on screen :/

Just a little heads up for anyone else out there who may be stuck in the same boat. What I pretty much did was find the Dolphin ini config file and where it says something like exit hotkey=0 I changed it to a 1. Now...everything got a little weird with dolphin's hot key so I just went back and set it to exit (or anything really...not that it's going to do much lol) so that I could use ALT+F4 which was macro'd through DS4Windows. And it worked! :)

1.) In HLHQ my exit emulator keys are "escape" and "end" for emulators that don't play nice with the escape key. Assigning "escape" to PS button in the DSTool's custom mapping has successfully closed every emulator I use to close with the escape key. The multitouch for HyperPause works correctly also. I experience no lag and no bluetooth dropouts even while constantly playing games on Steam.

Oh yes, it does work. PS button sends escape. HLHQ has escape assigned as the exit emulator key. Done. It's the same as the image a posted previously.

2.) I highly recommend avoiding alt+F4 combinations if at all possible. I figure it's always best to let HyperLauch close the emulator but more importantly another user could hold select and just keep pressing start and who knows what would close. Alt+F4 will do the trick but it's dangerous.

Good luck.

I'm not sure which version it is but it's the latest most up to date and I'm using DS4Windows. I know there are others that are very similar out there but this one seems to work the best for me atleast.

Yeah nothing with DS4 makes very much sense. I don't know if it's just a fault with the wrapping tool or what but now that I managed to get everything working the way I wanted, I'm unable to use the touchpad mouse in any application. It makes no sense....I can use it fine when i'm on the desktop or browsing through windows explorer but as soon as I start up Steam, or xbmc, or any game where a mouse is needed like Blade Runner or classic Fallout for example, no mouse through the Dualshock :/ I know it doesn't seem like a big deal and I could always just use my wireless keyboard with built in touchpad but I want to be able to rely on and use the DS4 as exclusively as possible. Including it's touchpad...Ugh back to more sleepless nights and screwing around with more settings lol it never ends!

The touchpad stops working for me as soon as I use hyperlaunch lol

The only logical thing I can think of for why this happens is that at some point when launching these programs the wrapper or something is saying this is supposed to be an Xbox controller, Xbox controllers don't have touchpads....and proceeds to kill it like a bad habit. Now the only thing left to do is find a way to enable the touchpad support again :|

Well I've finally found out what the issue is, the touchpad and ps button will not work with a program that is run with administrator rights (this is how I run hyperlaunch), the only way to fix is is to run ds4tool with admin rights also. It all works now, ps button works with escape and touch pad works...oh happy day
