rudealleycat Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Hyperspin keeps popping back up every time I load a pc game through it. I am using HyperLaunch to load this as I am needing to run JoyToKey for some of these games.
ghutch92 Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Is this bad or good? Is it before or after game? How to Install HyperSpin and more RocketLauncher HyperSpin Startup Script
rudealleycat Posted September 11, 2014 Author Posted September 11, 2014 @ghutch92 this is bad as the game is hidden while I'm trying to play. @guyverjay I didn't and read somewhere that using them might fix this issue. I tried them but it didn't work.
ghutch92 Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Is the fade in feature enabled? Please post your hyperlaunch log with logging level set to troubleshooting. You can set logging level to troubleshooting in HLHQ under General Settings > HyperLaunch How to Install HyperSpin and more RocketLauncher HyperSpin Startup Script
SIMPLYAUSTIN Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 If your running this through PC Launcher and not HL exe then you have more options. Im no pro but I got mine to work by doing the "wait for fade thingy on the bottom right of the module and roms options in HLHQ.... the one where you run it and then press ctl q or somehting. Once I do that once the game start and then restart it with those options its fine. I think sometimes HL gets confused as to what its looking for when the game starts. If it doesnt see the right thing it just brings you back thinking it never started. Hope this helped. I had to play with many of these settings getting my TTX to work Simply Austin's YouTube

ghutch92 Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 I've seen this problem before. One fix is to disable keymapper Another fix is to use xpadder Another fix is to download the latest and greatest version of HyperLaunch (has a fix for the joytokey issue) using git. Another fix is to not use git and just download the zip file from the repository here. Not recommended because it makes updating the modules and supporting files a pain. rudealleycat Posted September 15, 2014 Author Posted September 15, 2014 I figured out the problem. The game loads a totally different exe at first before launching into the game. After updating HyperLaunch I used AppWaitExe in the pclauncher module to fix this problem. Thanks for the help!
