gigapig Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 I'm using an xpadder profile and wireless 360 controller so my controls will probably be different.
Dogway Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 hello gigapig, yes I know about that option, but that's calling for "input" lag. wireless+LCD+DX+Xpadder(?) = lag nightmare I recently read that DirectX rendered games had a driver overhead lag (compared to opengl), I ignore which emulators run on what for many of them but I presume xpadder adds (even if minimum) to the already problematic equation. Ideally (discarding the real thing) the setup should be: Wired+LCD(Game Mode)+GL+BuiltIn Joystick mapping And still you would suffer from some lag I'd swear.
gigapig Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 You may be correct, but lag is not something I've ever noticed. I can post pad mappings for you to try, but obviously they may not work. If I use Direct input the cursor constantly moves, thats why I used xpadder.
Dogway Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 The cursor moves? How's strange. Maybe you play rpg or adventure games. In games like 3rd Strike you only have 1 or 2 frames (15 or 30ms) to parry an attack. Your inputs would not correspond to mine since you use a Wireless pad IIRC they have different scancodes, but thanks for the help!
Dogway Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Maybe someone can help. On SSF input lag is especially critical, just read here. edit: ok guys, just sorted it out... [edited out due lack of interest] This didn't get Sonic R any more playable lol. Is the real game so bitchy to manouver? :S Anyways, I have more more and more problems with many emus. But I think they are more module related. Like hang at exit, alt+tab to other windows, hyperspin video still playing at background... etc
Benzinbruder Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 @Hypnoziz: Just a quick "Thank you!" for the hint with the .cue files in the first post! I hade renamed my rom before to match the HyperList .xml file, but hadn't thought of the info in the .cue file. So SSF would't mount the image, there was only a black screen... Now I'm up and running SSF! Thanks!
Takaji Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Is there a keyboard shortcut that is mapped to save and load state in SSF? I can't seem to find anything other than the menu commands, which would require pressing Alt first.

Contary to what the menu says for load and save states (L) & (S) it's actually F7 to load and Shift-F7 to save. When you press either of those you need to select a slot from 0-9.
