thenoob Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Hey everyone Giga has been awesome on here and helped me find out my problem with Git as I've never been able to get it going. I go to my hyperlaunch folder, right click, git clone, all info correct. I have always got a message "could not exit cleanly" I scroll up on my message and it says "ssl certificate problem: certificate is not yet valid" Any ideas how to make this work?
albert_c Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 I think it is a Windows thing. I have a PC that is dedicated for HyperSpin, so my thought is I don't need all those other Windows updates because I could care less about security and bug fixes. Sadly though, on that machine, I couldn't get Git to work/sync HL and received the same error. I could spend some time fixing it but why bother, it's my emulation box. Not sure if your machine will be strictly for emulation or if it is a general purpose PC, if it is general purpose, run all the Windows updates (if you can and you are not on XP). If not, install Git and TortoiseGIT on another PC, sync it to a USB drive and copy the files over. Ultimately, you end up where you want to be. When you find great deals on Craigslist for CRT based cabs, exuberance can be a bad thing! Current status of cabs: 0/5 working as desired :wallbash:
