Can't Start Games

Hi

I'm struggling to start games in hyperspin. Basically, all games have been audited, both a keyboard and an xbox 360 controller have been mapped. I can navigate the wheel using both keyboard and controller. After I press start and select a game to play, the intro video for the game plays but when I press start/enter again to actually start the game nothing happens, I just seen enter coins/free play on the opening screen. The same happens If I test a rom using hyperlaunchHQ.

Hi Mark welcome to the forum.

Sounds like Hyperlaunch is already running, you might see the icon in the system tray.

If the problem was just from within Hyperspin I would say something is wrong in HyperHQ and you may have set some sort of filtering.

Thanks for your reply, I have tried it via some other software that tests the rom (can't remember the name) and it did the same, this is a fresh install as I had the same issue on a previous install.

I'm using windows 7 (not sure if that makes any difference)

You'll need to supply some more detail then. Post your Hyperspin and hyperlaunch Logs, the Hyperlaunch log needs to be set to troubleshooting level.

What systems are you trying to run and did you follow any guides?

To be honest, when I first tried it was from a cloned hard drive that worked. I reinstalled using tehgeek on YouTube. I'll get the logs when I get home and I'll copy and paste.

Hi guys

I've sorted it, I hadn't setup a coin or start button in hyperspin. I do have a question though, do I have to configure inputs for each game (1 by 1) or can I do it all in one go?

I personally where possible set controls up in tbe emulator unless a game requires different keys.
