Emulation pixel perfect

Question

Salut a tous,

Je crée ce topic dans le but de regrouper un maximum d'informations concernant les possibilitées retrouver un rendu CRT avec les emulateurs et sur des ecrans LCD.

Pour le moment voici les information que j'ai pu receuillir.

- Jouer en mode 4/3

- Utiliser le filtre HSlS (Utilisable apparement que sur Mame)

- Utiliser un generateur de Scan Line(genre RetroVGA 2 ou SLG3000).

Mes questions sont les suivantes

- avez vous d'autres suggestion a me faire ainsi qu'a la communauté pour la quete du pixel perfect?

- Pensez vous qu'investire dans une generateur de scan line est necessaire et suffisant?

- connaissez vous des equivalence du filtre HSLS pour les jeux nes, snes, megadrive etc

En esperant que ce topic arrivera a regrouper pas mal d'informations pour ceux qui comme moi n'ont pas la place d'acheter un ecran CRT.

Salut,

J'ai regardé dans le fichier ini de mess et apparemment tu peux y configurer HLSL. Ca pourrait être une bonne solution pour pas mal de systèmes. La mode semble aussi être à retroarch mais je n'ai jamais essayé et je ne sais pas ce que ça peut rendre. Je vais peut être quand même finir par tenter le HLSL. Mon but est d'avoir une configuration le plus universelle possible. Donc je peux très bien avoir un HLSL préconfiguré même si je ne l'utilise pas. Il me suffira ensuite de le valider ou non dans le mame.ini (ou mess.ini). J'ai pas regardé sur le ftp mais il doit y avoir du HLSL qui traine.

Tiens nous au courant du dossier ;)

Tu as aussi la possibilité de passer par retroArch qui as lui aussi un excellent crt Shader, ou comme le dit shino Mess! après tu auras pour d'autres emulateurs Sweet FX qui pourra t'en créer un pour Demul, SFF. Jamais tester le generateur de scanline.

Pour la config Hlsl regarde sur le dossier FTP de notre ami Gigapig!

Hehe Shinobi tu l'a aimé ce filtre hein ca rend pas mal :).

Je viens de regarder RetroArch et je suis deja plutot convaincu du rendu des scanline et bombage de l'ecran.

Par contre je galere a configurer les touche pour mon pad 360.

impossible de configure les touches du clavier.

Et par default la touche que je mettrait comme la touche select de mon pad 360 qui est la touche back correspond dans hyperspin au changement de shader.

Du coup des que je m'en sert sur Nes par exemple ca me change le shader.

Il y a une technique particuliere pour la configuration de touches?

Ouais, ça m'interesse de pouvoir jouer sur des ecran lcd avec un bon rendu ;)

Du coup est-ce que retroarch a un meilleur rendu pour toi? Ou c'est à peu près pareil que HLSL?

Pour ton problème de touche, je maitrise pas encore RL, désolé...

Oui ca peut rendre a peu pres pareil.

Par contre le probleme de touche est lié a retro arch plus qu'a RL.

Impossible de configurer les touche du clavier et impossible de retirer la touche de changement de shader :(

J'ai pas encore commencé à utiliser retroarch. Ca a l'air galère à configurer. En plus je ne sais pas si c'est possible d'utiliser des guns avec, donc pour l'instant je vais rester sur Mame+HLSL. Désolé de pas trop pouvoir t'aider pour les touches...

Tu vas dans config de retroArch et tu auras, Input (quelques choses) qui doit être sur keyboard. je sais que le truc que tu dois changer est Bind, (désolé mais je n'ai pas retroaRch devant moi) j'avais expliquer la procédure sur un autre thread, mais je sais plus lequel. Attention a bien utiliser la dernière version Git de retroArch!

Pour sauvegarder les congiguration pour chaques systèmes sur hyperlauch, tu devras noter tes sauvegardes de retroarch avec le même nom de système (ex: Nintendo enter.....cfg).

      Hello all & thanks for welcoming me into your community. I've spent some time trying to do this on my own, but as you may know we all need some assistance with this the first time around. Or at least I know I do. And believe me I tried to avoid posting this because I really wanted to get as far as I could before I asked for any help. But here is my issues, I've edited my settings ini, I've made sure my hyperspinhq formats are seperated by commas, I've renamed my roms with Don's Hyperspin tools, but when I go to launch a rom now I get backed out into the title selection wheel or the console selection screen every time.       Hi Guys,
       
      I am having trouble with my display screen when i run some consoles, eg Master system, Megadrive, game gear and NES. the screen display is the upper left corner of the screen for the above systems. I have selected fullscreen in HyperspinHQ but noting seems to fix the issue
      The game gear bezel is working but the screen is in the right hand corner of the bezel
      I have selected true to the bezels being on and have tried them off as well. I have tried changing the fading settings with no luck.
      My SNES setting are the same as those above but it is running full screen with no dramas.
      Is there another setting I am missing as I have gone through all the forum posts here and on youtube with no luck fixing it.

      New Version: Main Menu Changer 0.0.1.2 [bETA 3]
      BETA 3 IMPORTANT CHANGE:
      Now you can use the new MMCLauncher app to launch all your apps including HyperSpin, this fix various issues and is the recommended way to use MMC now.
      1- Edit MMCLauncher.ini with your Hyperspin path.
      2- Add more apps fallowing the same format if you need. This way the apps you need run once and not every time MMC relaunch HyperSpin.
      3- Delete any app from HyperHQ startup app. (Yes, quit killExplorer as start app And let MMCExit as exit app)
      4- Run MMCLauncher every time you need to run HyperSpin, so all needed operations like changing wallpaper or kill Explorer.exe, occur before Hyperspin launch.
      This change is not present it Video Tutorials or other Documents, so the old setups are still possible for retro-compativility.
      If you setup is working fine, don't touch it
      Windows 10 aparently don't need Wallpaperchange enabled, just RestoreExplorer will kill windows explorer and hidde the wallpaper.

      This app lets you change your main menu, filtering the entries stored in one XML file and allow you to create multiple level setups (HyperSpin allows a 2 leves setup normally).

      Note: The setup and MMCHQ part of the program needs more testing, as the version says it's still BETA, please fallow the setup tutorials and report any problems in the support topic.
      This app Works in 3 modes:
       
      MODE 1 - Normal Mode:
      A subwheel contains all the Filter Items, you can chose to Close Hyperspin Automatically or just configure the Main Menu with the selected filter and go back manually using normal FE controls.

      MODE 2 - SubWheels Mode:
      The filters are in the main menu Wheel and HS is closed and open again to load the results of the filtering process. You must scroll until you found a "BACK" item that will lead you to the previous main menu.
       
      MODE 3 - SubWheels Mode with NO "BACK" entry:
      The filters are in the main menu Wheel and HS is closed and open again to load the results of the filtering process. You can use the Frontend back key to go back, no special item need to be added to databases.

      What's New
      MainMenuChanger HQ: New app that let you edit xml files with diffrent apps and take care of save the modifications to the correct places.
      MainMenuChanger "First Run" Wizard: If you are making a new install of MMC, the app will copy the necesary files and tell you what needs to be done to make MainMenuCHanger work.
      Wallpaper Change: Change the wallpaper by a black one and back to a file of your choise on HS launch/close.
      Ini version check: If you are updating from 2016-04-04 version, the new ini options will be added and, so you current ini should work with this 0.0.1 version.

      Setup:
      Download MainMenuChanger_0.0.1.1_BETA.7z For all setup modes. Set Antivirus exeptions. Set all exes included to run with administrator provileges (right click -> propieties -> compativility -> run as administrator) Set all exes as secure (in propieties) so Windows dont ask before execute any of them. [*]Mode 1 and 2 have diffrent video tutorials.
      Mode 3 setup is almost identical to mode 2 with the fallowing diferences:
      In settings you must select mode 3, not mode 2 ( ) In setings you must set RestoreExplorer to True (This kills and restore windows explorer to avoid the desktop to flash for a seccond when you go back a level of wheels) Optionally you can set the option WallpaperCHange to true to change you wallpaper to a black one on HS launch.

      Mode 3 Tutorial (By maabus)
      Here is a text based instructions on how to setup sub wheels in Mode 3 with no back button. I only went over one level of wheels and sub wheels, and one category. Just follow the steps again to add more. It looks like a lot of work, but it really isn't. It should only take about 5 minutes to setup at least on category. I tried to explain what everything does to my understanding so that also added to the length of the instructions. Try out the instructions and let me know if anything is not clear.

      My main thing to have Hyperspin and 2 of my android based consoles in my home for handling emulation.
       
      The problem is:
       
      Reicast (dreamcast) is DEAD
      There are NO Android Dolphin Devs anymore, causing all the new releases to have broken controls and dolphin bar support is spotty at best.
      Openbor is compiled but doesnt work well for controllers or hyperspin
      Mugen has zero support except for Paintown which hasnt been updated to work on modern devices in years. And Dosbox allows only OLD dosmugen to work, not without some heavy tweaks.
      MAME on android needs a huge Open GL ES 3.1 or Vulcan boost so that better games can be supported and played. 
       
      But mainly the most recent versions need compile fixes to be 100% working on android. Not this currently handicapped version.
       
      Look what uoYabuse did for Saturn emulation. The original Yabuse went from unplayable to near perfect emulation thanks to OpenGL ES 3.0 changes.
       
       
      If any of you have been checking the emulation forums for android apps, many have tons of people who are interested in android emulation, but there are no android devs to support these android users..
       
      Honestly, we need more android devs out there to help out with the emulation scene as a whole.
       
       
       
      So i think im going to try to start a bounty for donations to android devs to assist with these things
       
      I would love to help out with some smaller things if I can, i programmed at bit in C++ back in 2000. 
       
      Or any ideas to help out with this before hyperspin is left unfinished for a bunch of items that can be supported as well.
