Note the original game is in 7zip format so I have 7zip enabled in Hyperlaunch. I'm testing from Hyperlaunch with the launch button (red rocket looking thing)

So ether SCSI or DT mode, change the drive letter in the plugin makes no difference.

If your game images are iso then you don't need DT Lite, switch it off and switch iso on in PCSX2.

I see from your log that you named the system "Gun Games", did you rectify that?

Hi Giga,

The system named "Gun Games" is just a placeholder. Actually, each game (there is only 8 in the system) has it's own "Alternate Emulator" so I can put various game systems into a single folder.

The game does indeed try to launch, but then hangs. The files are .7zup with bin/cue on the inside which DT is mounting properly as I can see from the drive letter.

I'm still having this issue and not sure where I should look. The logs aren't describing a problem that i've seen before. Any advice on this?

Also, what happens if some games are bin/cue and some are ISO? You can set PCSx2 to ISO or plugin, but not both?

I'm not sure, if possible I would convert to iso.

From your last log it looks like you are trying to load a cue sheet but you've set "Use SCSI" to false. That will need to be true and you'll need to change the plugin to point to the SCSI Drive you created in DT Lite.

I tested with a 007 game as an ISO and it worked. Although it took a good 3-4 minutes to extract the iso from the 7z file. Any idea how to speed that up or is it just raw disk?

I waited for 7z to finish it's job, then I saw the following from Time Crisis 3. This one is an ISO.

My settings in HL are. Daemon tools enabled, non SCSI

As a final test, I opened the ISO directly in PCSX2 and it loaded (with speedhacks enabled) so I can see it's a HL to PCSX2 issue.

That being said, I noticed that 007 requires speedhacks to be disabled, but Time Crisis needs them on. How does one set that per game?

There is no way to speed up the extraction process apart from not having them in an archive, it will depend on your PC also. God of War took about 5 minutes for me; so the few PS2 games I have are all ISO not 7z.

You could try something like PS2 shrinker to make the actual game smaller.

Here are the module notes to help with setting per game configs. I've never done this so maybe some else could chime in.

No that was it, although it's not telling you much. There does seem to be quite a bit you can do with per game configs.

Surely I'm not the first to have to do this? There are over 500 games in my trimmed list so I'll need to test each one and create a per game config for each? Ugh.

Do you know if there is anything special for Time Crisis 3 as in the original post. I still can't seem to get that one to go.

If the game is an ISO, choose ISO (in PCSx2) without Daemon Tools in hyperspin

If the game is mounted, choose Plugin (in PCSX2) with Daemon Tools in Hyperspin

Does that seem right?

I'm pretty sure someone has done configs already, I have a couple in mind I just need to find the posts. I'll also get hold of Time Crisis 3 and test.
