businessjeff Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 I busted out my old hyperspin HD and for some reason its not working now. I have changed nothing, and I do not suspect anything is corrupt. Its always worked in the past.. I load it up, everything works.. when i click to load a game for any counsel, i get a missing file error.. for n64 it says "D:\Hyperspin\Roms\Nintendo 64\Emulator\Project64 v.1.7.0.49\Project64.exe" is missing.. there is a project64 file in there that seems to load the emulator, I just tried adding onto then file name .exe making it project64.exe this did nothing Its like this for all the systems.. Really dont know anything about this setup, just curious if there was a quick fix as this all worked before and nothing has changed. thanks
gigapig Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 Hi and welcome to the forum. So you don't remember how you set it up in the first place Is it using Hyperlaunch 2.5 or 3? It maybe a ini files or drive letter issue?
Agrajag Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 The way this is described makes me think the drive was bought with HyperSpin already set up. Jeff, have you at least got a backup of the working system? If not, I suggest you start a new installation of the latest HyperSpin & HyperLaunch on another drive and copy all your ROMs and media across from the old one. When it is working to your satisfaction, you can then use the old drive to backup the new one. HyperSpin behaving oddly?
