pcsx2 stutter

I have just set up pcsx2 and when I play gta vice city I get a slight stutter and sound goes strange could someone help me with this? I have radeon Hd6670 graphics card

16 gb ram AMD Athlon X4750k cpu.

Hmm...

Is this a problem with all games or just GTA Vice City?

Either way, I'd try going into Config->Audio->Plugin Settings and changing the Synchronizing Mode setting to Async Mix. It may break some games, but should help your issue.

If it doesn't, try a different SPU plugin, and see if it helps.

Try checking to see if that game requires and speed hacks or special settings. I had the same issue previously.

are you using the SPU2-X plugin for audio? check the box in Sync mode, i bet you its set to time stutter. But ive noticed on some games like hot shots golf 4, its stuttering all the time. Im not sure if that because my computer isnt good enough or if its just the game

tried hacks that makes it too fast.

you can slow down the hacks. There is some slider bar you can move from 0 to 3. Try other numbers. I had hte same issue

also, make sure you don't press the TAB button which puts it in overdrive mode. When I hit tab my frame rate jumps from 60 frames/sec to 118 frames/sec

Thanks think I will make do for now getting used to it its only a slight drop in the frames
