Need a bit of help on a few emulator settings

Hello,

Just had a few small issues with a few emulators:

1) Mednafen emu using it for Lynx. Some games such as Raiden are rotated 90°. Mednafen seems to be GUI-less, Is there a setting/key macro to default games to upright or non-rotated positions? (I printed out the instructions, but didn't see anything on screen rotation).***Found out how to rotate screen, but you have to do it everytime you play the game. Press Alt+O (the letter, not the number).

2)For PS2 I'm using PCSX2 1.2.1 *Edit...I'm getting a CDVD plugin failed to open. I've tried 3 different CDVD plugins...*** Thanks to fame-shadow got it working

3)In ePSX (PS1) I can't seem to re-map the controller/gamepad...always seems to go back to default values.

4)For the Amiga, I'm using FS-UAE emulator. Running the emu itself, clicking on a disk and loading a game works fine....nothing happens though in hyperspin.

5)Any suggestions on an emu for the Odessey2 or do I have to go with MESS?

for the ps2 i had to set deamon tools to false and it worked fine for me

Sure, I guess 'remote desktop' won't do the job? ...or just easier with team viewer?

Ahh, correction on PCSX2 PS2 emu...I'm getting a CDVD plugin failed to open(I tried 3 different CDVD plugins but all give that error).

Thanks for the reply Yatsey, I have Deamon tools installed and seen the settings in HyperLaunchHQ but should I look elsewhere/more specific to the PCSX2 emu?

I would be glad to help with Amiga, if you haven't gotten it sorted.

I have a guide for Amiga using WinUAE in my signature.

Please be a little more descriptive about "nothing happens".

Does it let you enter the wheel?

And does nothing when you try to launch the actual rom?

If the second question is it, try to launch a game and post your HyperLaunch log here.

LOL!fixed he's pcsx2 he had he's plugin set to linuz iso instead of gigaherz and had cd/dvd as iso instead of plugin.

In HyperSpin, I can go to the games list but nothing happens when I click a game. But the FS-UAE Launcher window stays open(when I close HyperSpin).

The FS-UAE...is kicking my butt a bit. I'm going to read your tutorial later today. I also was wondering if it was possible to disable floppy sounds & real time floppy loading?

LOL... I'm sure the post count will free you! Not sure when the limit will be lifted.

As for FS-UAE, yes. Navigate to ...\{Emulator Directory}\Windows\fs-uae

Open the file "Config.fs-uae" in your favorite text editor.

Down at the bottom add this:

floppy_drive_0_sounds = off

And save the file.

The other settings to go in that file are found here: http://fs-uae.net/options
