How do I update hyperspin via hypersynch?

Quick question,

I need to update my modules for hyperspin, I use hypersynch for my systems etc, how do I update my hyperspin through hypersynch?

you don't, hypersync updates your artwork.

if you need to update Hyperlaunch components you need to use GIT

But what is the work around for git. Every time I follow the directions all I get is "error git did not exit cleanly code 128".

It's been like this since I've installed hyperspin the first time. Apologies for being off topic in this part of the forum.

Oh yeah, I've installed reinstalled , time and time again with git and tortoise and I always get the same error, it's never worked for me the 8 months I've been trying to do it.

What is the way to update it manually?

I'm guessing this is the best way?

If I download it all in a seperate folder, and drag and drop appropriate folders, will it over write my settings?? I'm worried about all my emulator settings getting messed up but this is my only option to update.
