AJSLOANE Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 I've been looking for some good Gamecube games to put in my arcade. I've been planning to put Animal Crossing and Super Smash Bros Melee in my arcade, but I don't want to install and set up an emulator so I can play 2 games. I am looking for games with easy controls because my arcade has a limited number of buttons, making it hard to set up a regular Gamecube game like Legend Of Zelda Windwaker. I am also looking for Playstation and N64 games with easy to configure controls.
HazzardActual Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 why dont you add a 360 controller? That would give you some analog sticks to play around with. I use a 360 controller for pretty much every one of the newer gen systems.
JoeC3109 Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Yea, I can think of a good amount of games that would be worth adding, but simple controls makes it significantly more difficult. N64 is tough because just about all of them use the C-buttons, which is ideally mapped to a joystick. PSX has a lot of buttons, and GC also has the C-stick.

AJSLOANE Posted December 28, 2014 Author Posted December 28, 2014 I'm more or less looking for fighting games, because even though the controllers have too many buttons to map, they rarely use all of them. I already know that i'm going to put in the first 3 Tekken games using my Playstation emulator and i'm going to put Super Smash Bros in with my N64 emulator. If you could suggest more fighting games that would be great. But thanks for the suggestion of a 360 controller. I wont be able to use it though, my arcade machine was pre-built with no place to put a hole for a controller.
mikekim Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 you could just pickup a USB Gamecube controller from ebay for pretty cheap, works fine... I have two of them for my system..

Fromlostdays Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Smash bros (both), maybe the Mortal Kombats, Soul Calibers, Mario parties, Maybe Dragon Ball Z Budokai, Tekken, Street fighter Alphas, Marvel Vs Capcom (definitely) Star Fox 64 cause why not. Darkstalkers, some of the Wrestlemanias. Viewtiful Joe doesn't use a lot of buttons. Bloody Roar, Worms. Puzzle games. Rouge Squadron. Mario Tennis is fun. Walter:beerglass:
