For systems that do not have videos/pngs I would like to be able to take one .png or one video and rename it to match all of the games and thus use it as a placeholder until i can make videos etc..... maybe a picture of the startup screen or something know what i mean? anybody do this? know how to do this? thanks any help is greatly appreciated craig Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But if I was going to do this as a "script" it could be done in powershell, assuming you are on a windows PC. A quick google search on "powershell folder compare" brings up a bunch of samples. wahoobrian Posted January 8, 2015 Share Posted January 8, 2015 Not exactly what you want, but check out "hypersync" in Brolly's folder on the FTP. It's not "The" HyperSync. Its a little program that lets you rename assets based on the XML with button clicks. Pretty easy. If you haven't already, check it out - should help.
