craiganderson
When recording videos on some of the old systems....there is a lot of "crackling" when the video starts playing. I can fix that in movie maker by fading in the volue but i dont want to do that for each video ... too time consuming.. Is there a program or anything that can do that for multiple files at once??? thanks craig
zerojay
Craig, I know what you're talking about. Your videos are recorded with the audio up a bit too high and it's causing those crackles and also causing some audio distortion. It won't go away after the fact by just changing the volume after. craiganderson
I particularly notice it at the beginning of a video and it does go away when I use the fade option....but I'm not interested in doing that for every video.....and mostly on the old old Soviet systems
craiganderson
Are u talking about my speaker audio. Volume up to high...or an internal setting to the recoding program (action In my case)? .... Thanks
zerojay
It's the recording volume that's too high and that's causing clipping which is the cause of the crackles. Turn it down to 90 or even 80% and it should be a lot better. I'm not sure what software you are using to record videos with, however.
