Custom Letters?

I have custom letters in /Images/Letters but HS is still using the default for that wheel. I realize I never figured out how to do this.

Lol, never mind. I see the letters are just the ones that pop up when jumping around, not a font replacement.

Something that I have always wondered is what makes the NES Letters (The ones that show year and manufacturer and so on. Not the jump letters) look different than all the others.

It matches the NINTENDO logo and looks really cool. Is this not a default setting for NES? I certainly haven't changed it myself. I found this in the "Nintendo Entertainment System.ini" in the settings folder.
