iviyu Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 Hi guys hope your doing fine! can someone please help me out!!! im so frustrated, trying since 3 days to use DON´s Hyperspin Tools. checked a lot of youtube instructions and comments of users and went all steps! the biggest problem I have is when I try: a) to create new HyperList --> XML ...i do al steps as in tutorials and i receive the message DONE! ---->then i save it in a folder. BUT when open the folder there is NO file ;( the samen with, to rename ROMs --> ...i do all steps according to the tutorials and the same! it says DONE in the program. ---> i save it but when I close the program and go to the folder NO roms inside !! i dont know what should I do? I don´t wanna change all my SNES etc Roms files by hand.... please please can you somehow give me a hint or a solution i would appreciate an answer of you, very much! sorry for my english, its not my mother tounge. best
gigapig Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 Have you filled in the emulator and Rom path, maybe the extension as well, in HyperHQ for the system you are trying in Hypertools? They are linked.

They are linked. hi thx for your answer. yes i did! e.g. 1) GLOBAL Super Nintendo Emulator set up 2) then LEFT in Super Nintendo System 3) there choosen rom path and this zsnes GLOBAL emulator with extension zip 4) audit games in HHQ see a lot of red once but i know i have them, just that my rom set is written otherwise... e.g. = 2020 Baseball (U) vs 2020 Baseball (USA) in XML file ---> so the difference is the USA... i can change it on my own but this takes to much time for a lot of systems 5) go to hypertools rom renamer... choose XML for Super Nintendo, then choose my rom directory he finds a lot of mismatches...so i say match..... and save as.... choose a new folder with roms good... start the process and when its succesful i close the program, go to the path BUT there is NO FILE ?!?!?! and the other think what is so strange is ... when i do the same process and try it again to save it in the same folder "roms good" i receive an ERROR, telling me i have to choose a EMPTY FOLDER with no files in it..... but arent files i cannot see anythin and the folder shows 0 KB and files when i check it with right click.?? do you have another idea? thx in advance....
