lassley Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Hey guys, I appear to be having a problem with Hyperspin and Hyperlaunch. Hyperspin starts fine, but then when I go to a game and hit the start key, nothing happens. I have looked on taskmanager, and it looks like, when I do hit the start key, Hyperlaunch starts for a second, and then exits. However, nothing changes on the screen. Here is the log: 05:48:27 PM | HyperSpin Started 05:48:27 PM | Going windowed mode 05:48:27 PM | Checking for updates 05:48:27 PM | Update Check Complete 05:48:27 PM | Startup program unavailable 05:48:27 PM | Playing intro video 05:48:29 PM | Error intializing joysticks 05:48:29 PM | Menu Mode is multi 05:48:29 PM | Loading Main Menu.xml 05:48:29 PM | Main Menu.xml successfully loaded 05:48:30 PM | Main Menu wheel loaded successfully 05:48:32 PM | Loading Nintendo 64.xml 05:48:32 PM | Main Menu.xml successfully loaded 05:48:33 PM | Nintendo 64 wheel loaded successfully 05:48:35 PM | Launching Game 05:48:35 PM | Using HyperLaunch 05:48:35 PM | Getting HyperLaunch path 05:48:35 PM | HyperLaunch located at C:\Hyperspin\HyperLaunch.exe 05:48:35 PM | Running HyperLaunch.exe 05:48:35 PM | HyperLaunch Command Line is: C:\Hyperspin\HyperLaunch.exe "Nintendo 64" "1080 Snowboarding" 05:48:38 PM | Loading Main Menu.xml 05:48:38 PM | Main Menu.xml successfully loaded 05:48:38 PM | Main Menu wheel loaded successfully 05:48:42 PM | Exit program unavailable 05:48:42 PM | Quiting Hyperspin 05:48:42 PM | Bye! gigapig Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Welcome to the forum. From this C:\Hyperspin\HyperLaunch.exe you appear to have installed Hyperlaunch correctly, did you follow a guide? HyperLaunch Should be in a folder within HyperSpin and HyperLaunch HQ should be in a folder within the HyperLaunch folder. You may have to start again, perhaps follow this guide.
lassley Posted February 21, 2015 Author Posted February 21, 2015 Thanks a ton for the link! I now realize all of the stuff that I missed I am going through it now, and will let you know how it works. Yep. I got it working. Thanks again for your help
vampirolatino2 Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 Well gigapig ... now we can separate HyperLaunch/HyperLaunchHQ from HyperSpin .... reading the how to in hyperlaunch new website its easy..... I think they divorced lol!!!! Oh well, more websites to read and keep an eye. With all the Hyper(something) is all confusing for first starters, I can get that.
