Hey Folks !!

I´m a big Sega fan from the Arcade games of the 90s. So i need to get demul and supermodel 3 emulator to work so bad !! :adore:

@demul emu: in options i activate "go to full scren". but when i m in HS and start a game the emulator pops up over HS in half screen size and stays there. but the games work fine hahaha ;) but of curse this looks very shitty.

so i pick my mouse and click options (still HS plays in background) and try the activate full screen again. but it dont work.

@Supermodel 0.2a: the games are so in slow motion, thats very bad. it runs realy bad. but my PC should not have any problems to fire up this games

thx4help

Hi!

Post your PC specs..

And I think supermodel latest WIP is 0.3 something .. I know it busted more FPS, that's the version I'm running and the games are more fluid and fixed a lot of graphic glitches (at least for me).

linky: http://down.emucr.com/v3/7424003

About the half screen. I always configure the emulator to go Full screen. I only use the modules settings for emergencies or when the emulator can't do it.

@demul emulator: i have config the emulator to go full screen. like every emulator on my system. but like i told when i m in HS and open a naomi rom the emulator pops up over HS in half window.. very shitty

Hi Optical,

I think there is something in the module notes about Demul fullscreen settings.

Thanks,

Ron

I remember that theres a bug in the Demul config or menus. For some reason some settings get changed back to defaults each time you launch the system. Way I got around it is change all the setting is the .cfg file. Change the file to "read only" in the properties. Now Demul cant play games with your head anymore :) I know I had to do this for some settings, cant remember if it was for FS too.

Some things that I notice is if the Emu runs in DX11?? Sometimes you HAVE to press "shift" + "enter" to get it to full screen. Once done it normally stays like that.

Have fun... aint emulation AMAZING!!!!

Right??

Many of the setting are in the module settings.

There is a bug that breaks the demul.ini file. There is a module that is currently being worked on that will prevent the ini from ever getting broke in the fist place. ;)

Thanks,

Ron

  • 3 weeks later...

hey friends !

after a couple of weeks takeing Holiday from arcade cab i now tried to get the probs done.

so i fixed the Problem with Fullscreen on the "demul Emulator". but now i have a new prob with it. when i config my controls and i start a game everything is good. but when i leave the game and start a new one, the controls config is gone. so everytime i start a new game i have to config the controls new.

and with the supermodel3 Emulator ist still the prob with the slow graphics (i used the link from vampiratino2). the Sound is perfect, but the graphics are in slow motion

Hi,

For the Demul controller settings, you must read the module notes.

You have to setup your controls in the emulator and copy the control settings from the emulator config and paste them into the Demul.ini file.

; Controls:

; Start a game of each control type (look in the HLHQ's module settings for these types, they all have their own tabs) and configure your controls to play the game. After configuring your controls manually in Demul, open padDemul.ini and Copy/paste the JAMMA0_0 and JAMMA0_1 (for naomi) or the ATOMISWAVE0_0 and ATOMISWAVE0_1 (for atomiswave) into HLHQ's module settings for each controls tab (standard, sfstyle, etc).

; Each pair of control tabs designates another real arcade control schema for a grouping of games. Demul does not handle this like MAME, so the module does instead.

;

; Troubleshooting:

; For some reason demul's ini files can get corrupted and ahk can't read/write to them correctly.

; If your ini keys are not being read or not writing to their existing keys in the demul inis, create a new file and copy/paste everything from the old ini into the new one and save.

; If you use Fade_Out, the module will disable it. Demul crashes when Fade tries to draw on top of it in windowed and fullscreen modes.

Hope this helps some.

Thanks,

Ron
