For future reference Sub, I've got lots of connections in the arcade world if you need stuff like this again.

Working on opening an arcade this year here in Indy.

Well, if you come across rare cabs with good art, take some high res straight on pictures (or run the cab through a scanner, that's fine for me too) ;)

Man, I really need both a scanner and a nice camera. I was standing right in front of a Magical Spot just the other day. Had all the time in the world with it in this dude's garage. The art on that cab is amazing (like most other Universal cabs) and I was just thinking to myself that I should be taking pictures of this shit for HS haha. (or is that done already)

I don't know if I've got any pull on KLOV, but I am a member and have made a few trades / purchases, so I can ask them if they'll help a fellow game enthusiast site out (also promise not to print them for money).

I do however know lots of people with arcades. I know a guy who just bought a beautiful Afterburner here in Indy. Maybe he could take some pics for me. Look forward to some pms brotha :)

Also did you ask RidicRick here? That dude has tons of resources for arcade art. Hit him up! Super nice dude.

On my to do list. I have a high res bezel, which is cool & useful. Unfortunately I don't have the marquee, so I have to redraw the title from the flyer or a crappy photo (as the one on the flyer is missing the green background on it). Also, the art from above the screen seems nice, probably the nicest piece (judging from a crummy lo res pic), something similar on the flyer, but it's just not the same.

I'll manage though.

We don't do that kind of ish either

Thanks for the tip. Haven't seen him around for a long time though.

Yea, I get that HS doesn't print, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't as a fellow arcade person. Still, I don't cross those lines if people aren't cool with it. Not here to make enemies.

Anyway good news! He's sending me all the files soon. Asked me for $10. I paid him. You're welcome :)

It's cool. I have a friend that just got one so it'll get used.

He still logs in here. I saw that he visited my page. I can hit him up on Facebook though. See if he's got that or if he knows who would.

The Magical Spot marquee was not on the machine in question, so maybe it wouldn't have helped anyway. It was converted to a Lady Bug which worked surprisingly well. Helps that they are both Universal. The kickplate is pretty wicked on that machine.

You guys got a full list of stuff you need art for? This would seriously give me a reason to buy things I want to buy anyway lol.

People on Facebook ask me to help with HS all the time. I always tell them to donate and check the forums. They never do haha. Anyway, I think if I put something out there asking for art on places like Facebook, there would be a good number of people that want to support what HS is all about and might be able to help us source some art.

That's what I mean, I'm not Chris Upchurch, not here to re-destribute other ppl's stuff.

We also have some good marquee scans coming in that we don't share either. That's not up to us, they were provided to us to make themes from.

Awesome!

lol, yeah, I just go by art I have available atm, but that's gonna run out. I know Sub-Zero is more focused on particular games.

there's a list here. The list with the wheel images list games that need a theme and what artwork they have available. Blow that are personal lists we're working on, I have at least workable art for all games on my list, but we always need mo & mo betta! ;)
