JoeC3109 Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Hey everyone, Wanted to get a little feedback on how people are connecting their WiiMotes to their PCs. I use WiiPair, and it works pretty well. The problem is that it is in theory supposed to permanently connect the WiiMote to the PC, but I have several games/systems (TTX for example) that need to disable bluetooth in order to work, and I think that causes the connection to be lost, and I have to re-pair them before using Dolphin the next time. It's just a minor inconvenience at the most, but was curious if anybody else was in the same boat or found a workaround. Of note, I did try another other program, Touchmote, but the drivers it installed really seemed to cause some problems with my machine, and I had to completely uninstall it to get everything back in working order. Of course, I could have installed it completely wrong as well. Appreciate the info in advance
JoeC3109 Posted March 22, 2015 Author Posted March 22, 2015 Did some reading, and ordered. Thanks marx
snarfo Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 +1 for Dolphinbar. Works great, very inexpensive. HTPC: Gigabyte BRIX Pro w/Intel Iris Pro graphics, Windows 8.1 x64/8gb RAM
marxkemp Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 How are gungames and mame holding up with this bar? Better then aimtraks?
damageinc86 Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 Mayflash DolphinBar. No problems at all. It's amazing.
Dime333 Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 How are gungames and mame holding up with this bar? Better then aimtraks? I have noticed that the cursor "freezes" for a very short time after pressing the fire button when using the doplhinbar in mouse mode. It's not responding to movement for maby half a second after every shot. Is this happening to anyone else?
snarfo Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 I've only used the Dolphinbar for Wii games so far, but I was going to start messing with it for simulated lightgun games this weekend... didn't know there were some potential issues. This is with current firmware and button freeze happens outside of emulators as well? HTPC: Gigabyte BRIX Pro w/Intel Iris Pro graphics, Windows 8.1 x64/8gb RAM

This is with current firmware and button freeze happens outside of emulators as well? I'm pretty sure it does for me. I'll report back when I get a chance to test it. Edit: Yes. It happens with the A and B buttons in Mouse mode (Left and right click). Wii mode is fine. I'm on Win7 X64.
