C_Wilson009 Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 I have box art for snes and it seems to work fine when I place them in artwork 4. I tried the same thing for sega cd and 32x and both wont work. Do they go in a different folder? Im sorry if this has already been answered, but the new layout of hyperspin website, doesn't seem to let me view older topics.
dougan78 Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 I usually open the theme in hyper theme to see what artwork is supported. Otherwise there is only 4 folders (artwork 1-4) so slap a box or cart image in a folder and see what shows up. I think the theme zip files usually have a txt file telling you too. Good luck.
C_Wilson009 Posted April 18, 2015 Author Posted April 18, 2015 thx you were right, it just needed to be in a different folder for the system.
THK Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 If you open the theme zip, there's a theme.xml inside. Open this in notepad to see/edit what layers are declared. The one without the artwork inside the zip itself is the layer that looks for its artwork outside of the zip. Using HT will also work of course.
demonseed Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 Hey I am having the same issue.. I go into HT and load up default for Sega 32x.. I make sure Artwork 4 and 3 are present and there in the proper folder but they still do not show up? What am I missing
demonseed Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 I open the XML and read it as below... says the Artwork 1-4 and video rest are active.. however if I go into HT move or change anything I lose things? In HT where is the video button for the preview videos? how do I keep it ontop? <?xml version="1.0"?> -<Theme> <video rest="none" start="none" type="fade" bshape="false" bcolor3="" bcolor2="" bcolor="0x000000" bsize3="0" bsize2="0" bsize="0" delay="0" time="0.2" forceaspect="horizontal" overlayoffsety="0" overlayoffsetx="0" overlaybelow="false" below="false" ry="0" rx="0" r="-5" y="424" x="357" h="264" w="380"/> <artwork1 rest="none" start="none" type="fade" delay="0" time="0.5" r="0" y="383" x="511"/> <artwork2 rest="none" start="none" type="fade" delay="0" time="1" r="-5" y="425" x="362"/> <artwork3 rest="none" start="right" type="none" delay="0" time="0.5" r="0" y="503" x="734"/> <artwork4 rest="none" start="right" type="none" delay="0.3" time="0.5" r="0" y="583" x="893"/> </Theme>
