monkey666 Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 I guys and ladies, I am new person here to this comunity and I am loving hyperspin however I am having a few issues, is there any people here on skype who do a small bit of remote help via teamviewer, I am using HyperHQ to configure my wheels the following emulators I have working: SuperNintendo Genesis and a few others however when I try to add Gameboy colour it shows the videos and themes on the wheel, when i click a game to play it does nothing, I have created a brand new Gameboy Color.xml with HyperROM2XML and placed it in the correct location but no luck, can some one help me thanks.
bclout Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Make sure that your xml file name matches your system name exactly. The correct filename can be "Nintendo Gameboy Color.xml". Also case sensitive.
Retro Goonie Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 I might be wrong but It sounds like you haven't set which emulators you want to use. You need to pick your emulator for each console/system. monkey666 Posted April 20, 2015 Author Posted April 20, 2015 Hi I have the done the above I have linked each specific wheel with each desired emulator and the folders name is Nintendo Gameboy Color I have pointed to the .exe of the emulator which is in that folder and also I have linked it to E:\Hyperspin\Databases\Nintendo Gameboy Color folder, I have tried to use the .xml tools to make sure my rom names are correct and no luck at all.
methos01 Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Have you tried running a game in hyperlaunch HQ? Under the games tab.. There's a button to do a game audit and another button launch a game. It looks like a little red rocket. If it won't launch there you should post your log. Hyperlaunch log, set the troubleshooting. Assuming you're using RocketLauncher which you should be if it's a new install. What emulator are you using? Probably just missed a step somewhere in the set up process. Believe me it's happens to a lot of us.
