Dreamcast: nulldc and 7-zip

Hi, I am using the HL 2.x and djvj's multi-system ahk (nulldc, makaron, demul). I am using nulldc with 7z files containing cdi images. When launching from HL it fails b/c nulldc is being fed a 7z file and HL is not unzipping. In the ahk I see the 7z function being called. Does any one know the reason this is failing? Am I misinterpreting how HL interacts with 7-zip?

Has anyone used nulldc with 7-zip?

I do have exactly the same question ? If I use pure cdi images, all works fine. 7Z files are ignored and run into error.

Shouldn't hyperLaunch do the unzip ?
