Killer Instinct 1 and 2 (MAME) - Anyone else have random sound stutters?

Maybe I just never noticed it before Hyperspin but when I launch KI it plays perfectly fine except the sound will out of no where stutter (like someone bumped the record player) and then auto corrects itself.  Is this just how it's emulated or is it Hyperspin or maybe a monitor refresh issue?  Happens with KI and KI 2.  Anyone experience this?

Yeah that's emulated, it happens when the intro starts and Fulgore get electrified right?

Seems like it happens more frequently than that and out of place too.

Do you have MAME 64 bit running or 32?

I have not noticed stutter during play and never sit long enough on the intro to notice that one. Good luck.

So I figured out what the problem is. Im running a scan line effect in my Mame INI and it's causing the stuttering on KI but nothing else. Is there any way to use the original mame INI with KI only and have mame use the Mame INI w scanline for everything else?

Yes. Each game cam use it's own mame.ini just call it romname.ini and put it in the ini folder.

thanks - I was able to make a specific one for KI but it ended up stuttering even without the scanlines.  I'll need to keep troubleshooting.
