justice999 Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Hello guys, I have a full set of US/EUR 2D front covers for PSP (more than 730+ covers), they look like that: I would like to convert them (in batch) to a 3D format, to make them look like that: Anyone knows how to do that? Should I remove the main cover of the 3D box (I only have the PNG, no PSD) and have a look at the photoshop batch mode? I would be pleased to provide my set to someone with all materials needed if he can help me. Thanks in advance.
SIMPLYAUSTIN Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Yes, this can be done in PS. It would be VERY easy with the correct PSD which I am sure someone has. I remember seeing it in an older thread somwhere. It is also possible to get this done with just the PNG, although a PSD or template would have to be made from it to make it work. These could be done in the batch process in PS no problem. Although most of it depends on the quality of art etc, as to how they will turn out. I have around 1200 bozes. They are mixed up, however I have resized them all and do conform to a format I have used. Lots of templates out there for boxes etc Simply Austin's YouTube
justice999 Posted April 23, 2015 Author Posted April 23, 2015 Hello austin, Thanks for you answer, I have a complete and cleaned set with the same size for PSP, the only PSD template I found is this one: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=30331367&postcount=1084 It's not really what i'm looking for... I will clean this PNG and have a look at PS batch mode. Where can i find your covers? In your FTP folder? I'm also looking for a full set of NDS boxes, EmuMovies has 3000+ 2D covers, it would be nice to batch them in 3D. Thanks.
SIMPLYAUSTIN Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Nope, I have not uploaded them as of yet. But if you want I can give you a hand on the boxes see what we can come up with Simply Austin's YouTube

Nintendo DS 2D covers are available on EM website, more than 3k covers. I will send you my full set tonight for PSP games, its US+EUR games. Thanks.
SIMPLYAUSTIN Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Sounds like a plan mate Simply Austin's YouTube
bartmarley Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 very easy, just cut off the front from a 3d sample. create a plate dynamic layer you will use to replace the front adjust the dynamic layer with the missing front so then you just have to double click your dynamic layer, you put there your front cover with a script for example, you save the dynamic layer and oh magic, the cover fit perfectly the 3d cover :) its a rough explanation but its the method i use
justice999 Posted April 23, 2015 Author Posted April 23, 2015 I've sent you a PM with PSP covers austin, their resolutions are 290x500, it acutally does not look that bad: I can find HQ covers online with a resolution of 1200x2000 with inlays... If these boxes dont look great, I may start to gather them but eh... it's a lot of work... Otherwise NDS covers are available here, there are 3800+ 2D covers... Thanks guys.
SIMPLYAUSTIN Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Nice, will have a play tonight to see what I can come up with and see what the batch looks like in the morning. Im in Dire need of matching covers so this is win win for me Simply Austin's YouTube
