2 different versions of VJoy?

I'm using VJoy by Headsoft right now http://headsoftware.net/index.php?category=vjoy

and it made MKX playable, but it interferes with most other PC games. I've just figured out that it is also what causes the update 2 version of AAE to crash at startup.

Is anyone using the other Vjoy? http://vjoystick.sourceforge.net/site/

If so does does it work better? Worse? Differences between the two?
