acidarmitage
Has there been a new way to run Teamviewer at startup? when I have Teamviewer start with windows, Hyperspin loses focus and isnt usable until theres a mouseclick oralt+tab. If I run it with HS Startup Script it appears in focus. How is everyone else doing it? (win 7 btw)
gigapig
I did have it running at start up so I could remote into my main PC from a laptop. I noticed the same issue and just stopped it running at start up. Perhaps you could use the Start up script to stop it ?
xtwistedsanityx
Why not just use Microsoft's built in rdp? I find that easy and is built in = less over head Sent from my A0001
acidarmitage
i need it to do maintenance on it from time to time. RDP doesn't work when running games due to not using the graphics card of the arcade. I tried using a startup script but teamviewer always wants to open up last and muck things up
Circo
I would just open it up when you need it
acidarmitage
i would have to open it up and plug in a keyboard. thats a pain in the ass. I would rather just have it waiting in the background or have Hyperspin take focus.... so I'm assuming nobody has figured it out yet hahah
acidarmitage
There are other/better ways to remote access. like what? I need it to run on the arcade's monitor (since its a CRT and its impossible to adjust settings with its low resolution), using the arcades hardware (most importantly its Video Card) and I also need it to output to the machines hardware (because of secondary monitor, AimTrak and the Howler's LED driver)... only Teamviewer has been able to do everything perfectly
ChrisKant
There are other/better ways to remote access. I am also using team viewer, since my Hyperspin is a Windows 8.1 Maschine and my other computers are all working with Apple OS X.... I am also searching for other solutions :-(

Guest
Microsoft has the Remote Desktop Client in the Mac App Store I believe
acidarmitage
Microsoft has the Remote Desktop Client in the Mac App Store I believe Remote desktop does not utilize the graphics card and will reset windows settings when using multiple monitors... its good for some things but youll definitely notice you cannot run games or hyperspin while using remote desktop... any suggestions jeremy since you said there were better alternatives? Ripture
Have you tried Splashtop? It's a similar application to Teamviewer but it may function differently enough to not cause you issues. The other option is some variety of VNC, like TightVNC. My experience with VNC has been poor though. Teamviewer/Splashtop do a much better job.
