firebird2727
I also attached a error I get when launching a game from the Rocketlauncher. But after a few seconds after that error, the game actually launches.
Erika
In RocketLauncher, the extension for your roms is listed under global settings, emulators, and your chosen emulator on the list, right? I'm assuming you've got HyperHQ pointing towards your rom directory also. Do you have wheel filters turned off/on in HyperHQ? Sometimes those cause issues for me. If you open your Nintendo 64 settings file in the Hyperspin, Settings folder, is everything correct? The rom path, userompath set to true, search sub folders, etc... ? Look through the settings file for any irregularities or issues.
firebird2727
In HyperHQ, I do have the roms directed to the location of where they are at. I currently have no filters turned on in HyperHQ. Erika
The only thing that I see that's different from my setup is that my exe= path is blank. I'm using RetroArch though, and I'm fairly new to all this, so I may be way off with that being an issue. You said you get the error you posted in your OP in RocketLauncher also, but then it still launches the rom? What format are your roms in? I noticed you don't have RAR on your list of extensions (if they aren't RAR'd though, then doesn't matter).
firebird2727
Now I am getting the samething with my MAME. Is there another log file or something I can look at. I am new at this, any information will be greatly appreciated. Or maybe share my screen to have someone take a look to get me on the right path. Thanks in advanced. 32assassin
you should zip all your roms. this way you only have one extension. Project64 can load your zip compressed roms, you will also save hard drive space. a few minor points you only need to add your emulator path in HyperHQ if you are using Hyerplaunch 2. you only need to add rom paths and extensions in HyperHQ if you are using rom filtering. You will see the 100 or so posts of people not being able to select their sub wheel because they ignore this fact. very important points Are you using Hyperspin 1.3? if the answer is yes you need to run a transition tool. Hypersin 1.3 is not smart enough to distinguish between Rocketlauncher and Hyperlaunch. jump to step 3 IF YOU HAVE Rocketlauncer installed. http://www.rlauncher.com/wiki/index.php?title=Transition_From_HyperLaunch3 the transition tool will add emulator paths to HyperHQ. This paths are not to your emulators but it will set Rocketlauncher.exe as your emulator for all your systems. it will do many more things so don't think you can do this manually You need to post your Rocketlauncher log not your system settings you can find it in your Rocketlauncher folder. load a game through Rocketlauncher before you do that Open RocketlauncherUI select the main Game Settings tab look for the Logger Section and select "TroubleShooting" from the drop down menu and please post your logs at Past Bin http://pastebin.com/ none of us want to scroll thorough so many lines of code when we read posts.
