I've heard this before. I may be wrong but I believe you must keep them plugged in to keep them in the same position.

Usually what I do is this....Use this script to launch my HS Script. Then as I use RL (works with HLHQ too) to create profiles for HS and RL and any others I require. What happens: Script launches and sets xpadder to use HS script. Select game or system. RL loads appropriate system/game xpadder profile. Upon exiting emulator RL loads blank xpadder profile and then HS profile and the loop continues. You must setup keymapper to xpadder in RL to get this to work. Note: this v1.08 does have xbox360 controller support however I found that some buttons didn't work properly but xpadder profiles launched from it worked good. Remember to turn off joysticks in the ini file if you decide to use xpadder otherwise you have 2 programs doing the same thing which isn't a good idea.

Ghutch I am being told that RL can't interpret xbox360 button presses as it is ahk based but you appear not to have that issue in your script. If you get a moment would you mind reading and commenting....? http://www.rlauncher.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1235

Can you please check the two files as they don't appear to be the same size. They also create different ini files. The post link appears to be the latest RL fix version. Link on download site says 1.07 Link on first post says 1.08

Does this new version still work with The old HL 3 as well as RL?

To be more specific - if your setup is HS 1.3 and HL 3 and you only upgrade to RL which apps stop working?

Is it the new Hyperspin beta or Rocketlaunch that has issues with these third party apps?

I have been using the latest 1.07 version and noticed that once I boot up hyperspin the only button not working on the xbox controller is the y button which is the favorites key. Any ideas why only this button? The ini file has this set to joy 4 I believe.

I suddenly started having that mad spinning...at least I now know where it's starting from..;-)

I think it means hotkey fires on being pressed rather than on being released.

Still opens xpadder...;-)

Don't know why but using this script does close hypersearch when HS closes. Thank you for this great util!

Sounds great. Will this close hypersearch on exiting HS? I've tried all sorts and the damned thing won't close. Xpadder closes but Hypersearch remains active prompting an error when relaunching hyperspin.

Let's hope for a quick icon solution so we can all appreciate your efforts ;-)

Hi - I would like to run my hyperspin xpadder profile. How do I tell xpadder via this program which profile to run? Sorry if this is basic.

Are they available somewhere?

I'm certainly interested. Sometimes these issues are suffered by all and a one stop would solve that!
